need pic of 1st mod Spiderco knife

I've looked at the Spyderco cat but don't think they offer this mod anymore. I'd appreciate seeing a pic of this knife so that I may buy one if I ever run across it, many thanks. ken
 
The C01 Worker was the first Spyderco knife. The original first run knives had unchamfered handle scales and two-screw clips. This picture from Ted's excellent site (www.spydie.nl) shows a later run.

Thanks for the answer tomy question. NOW, can you also advise me where I can buy a used one ? Would you also have an opinion of a ball park price ? I want to inlay some gold border work & cover with banknote scroll. In as much as the 24ct gold has to be hand polished flush with the steel, scratches are of no concern as they too will be polished out. Ken
 
I see them crop up on eBay pretty regularly. They've been out of production for quite some time, so I don't know of any retailers that have them.
 
Ken, there is a C01S Worker on eBay right now with a BIN of $65. Judging by the one less-than-wonderful photo, I'd say it is probably a fair price. It is a later production run piece, not a first run, but it is the first model. You can e-mail me for a link if you need to.
