I recently bought a Benchmade Grip, which I currently clip on my front right pocket, and a Inova X5, which came in a rather flimsy open top sheath. I'm also thinking of getting a Leatherman New Wave. All three, I'd like to mount on my belt, a regular 1.5" leather belt.
I have Maxpedition and Spec Ops Brand pouches in mind right now. Are there any other makes I should be considering? How about using pistol mag pouches (ones without kydex inserts)?
My concerns are retention and accessibility. I'd also like a pouch that can adjust to the size of the belt, so the fit would be snug and the pouch would not tilt side to side.
Can I get any ideas from you folks?
