While not as major as some requests here, I gotta tell you as a father I am going a little crazy. Our four year old is going to have his tonsils and adenoids removed this Wed.

I know it's nothing major, but we can all the "support" he can get. :o

Some smoke and a prayer on the way from MD. It's a relatively simple procedure. Not to downplay your concerns but I am confident that everything will be just fine. The very young tend to bounce back quickly. Keep us updated. -DT

yeah he can eat all the ice cream he wants! :eek: i would tell him he is a brave lil kid. because he is! for going under the knife.

Smoke and prayers from MI! Now is the time to do it, it gets worse as ya get older. I have problems with my tonsils (tonsil stones, frequent sore throats), but never quite bad enough to get 'em out. At my age (39), I heard it's not fun.

I went through this as well with my progeny about 5 years ago.

Its nerve-racking for Daddy, I know. But its really a piece of cake, and after you fidget for an hour in the waiting room, its all over.
 
I hope all goes well.

I've been there. It can make you Climb the Walls when there are problems with your own Children no matter what the age.

BTW: Concern for your youngins never stops, my 36 year old daughter had the same procedure LAST Year. In 5 minutes the surgeon came out to talk to us, we were scared to death something was wrong. WRONG, he was finished and all was well.
