Need pro tip!

Hey guys I just received a zing tanto dlc coated for a gift, i tried it out but it seems the dlc makes it not flip out as smoothly as it should. I messed around with the pivot but it stays the same. Any pro tips?

Haha I know but this is a gift I just want it to be as good as it can be before I gift it away!

You could take the blade out and grease the washers to make it smoother

Allow the detent ball to wear it's own groove in the DLC.

My advice. Clean/lube it then get flipping. Should smooth it out.

A small drop of oil at the pivot can help
