Need quick help-Military model

hi,
is this one of the new militaries? I've just ordered one but since I'm from germany I'm not too sure whether they're still selling old ones over here...
I'm a little confused because of the "filework" on the blade, seems to me that the new ones only have it where you put your thumb, right?
could someone please help me out with this one real quick?

The model pictured is one of the older original models.

Sal, Other than the cosmetic changes (caught the other thread on the lettering) are there mechanical/design changes with the "new" Military?

I just made sure with the guy that it's indeed the new model (other than in the picure).
it's gonna arrive in the middle of next week and I'll be one happy camper!

I'll upgrade from my police with metal handle and if the military is indeed even better... wow!
even if you try hard to look at other knives, for carrying and actual use, I've found nothing so far that comes close to beating a spydie!
