Need quick Ratmandu info

Guys I'm buying a ratmandu tonight.. does anyone know if the green and maroon canvas micarta is available on the swamp rat ratmandu? Also, are any of the new blade finishes available for ratmandu..? Thanks Guys...an gals

I was hoping these new options were available for ratmandu and the website just hadn't been updated... :( what I gather from what little BF let you upload... the answer is nope:( .... am I pickin up what your puttin down Jaxx?
 
I would call and ask...in the past I have ordered custom RMD's but always by calling first to make sure it was doable.
 
I specifically asked by email...i think it was the only email I've sent to the Swamp that didn't get a response.

Yeah it may have gone unnoticed that is why I call to get verbal confirmation then there is no surprises. Trissy always handled the questions with ease and sent confirmation once she got the pricing confirmed.

All I know is what I saw. I screenshotted all currently available options last night, above is what I found. I screenshotted mainly so moss green wasn't mistaken for the newer green I've yet to see

I'm interested to hear what they say. It's possible they're willing to sell Rats in the new coating and/or scale options but haven't updated the site yet, ...or maybe they're not.

Don't know until we hear it from them. I've meant to ask but still debating how bad I want a Rucki vs. whatever may be just around the corner. I bet they'd see a surge in orders at the Swamp if they opened things up though.
 
The tan canvas usually runs light in color and stains really well with Rit fabric dye. I suspect you can dye it awfully close to the maroon canvas Busse has been offering. I've stained two knives dark brown and it looks like walnut at a distance. Next time I am going to try for a maroon. Just before the Rodent Solution was discontinued the swamp got in some dark tan canvas micarta that was pretty close to the maroon. Someone posted a pic here of an RMD they received with it so I rolled the dice and ordered a Solution and it came with the near maroon scales. The maroon micarta and tanker grey blades is my favorite combo right now and the muddy blades with maroon is a close second.
 
I've only had one example of the new maroon micarta; and I was disappointed... enough so that I sold the knife. (That knife was received after the aforementioned email.)
Maybe I'll try dying a natural/tan, in the hope of ending up with something closer to what I consider maroon micarta.
