Need Recommendations for New EDC

First off let me say that I thought I was a knife junkie until I stumbled across your little community, great site you guys have.....

looking to add a new vehicle to my current garage.
I have the following
Spyderco Delica
Spyderco Endura
Spyderco Native
BM 2550 Auto
Gerber Applegate
Kershaw Blur

I am looking to spend no more than about 160 but anything up to that is fine. I need a knife that has very little metal(titanium is OK) on the handle as I am allergic to nickel and I will get rashes on my leg. It also needs to be under 4". A low rise clip would be a huge plus. It also needs to be relatively thin

I was looking at the following
SOG Night Vision (Dont know where I can find one though)
SOG Mini X-Ray Vision
BM 745
BM 635
BM 710
Syderco Frank Veile

The 710 definitely fits that, it is one of th emost popular if not the most popular production folder (not counting the sebby, which is semi custom imho)
 
I would think that many other production knifes are more popular than the 710 ie Buck 110. But regardless, 710 is pretty cool, especially if you have never owned a BM.

For spyderco, I would suggest getting a mili. G-10 scale, handle slab don't protrude through the handle like the lockbacks you mentioned.
 
look up the Kershaw mini cyclone zdp-189/ titanium, you can get it for under $160, but of those mentioned the 710 is a great knife, and d2 neveer fails to impress me.
 
I can not say enough good things about Spyderco's Caly3.

I have the G10, VG10 and the carbon fiber with ZDP laminate.
The G10-VG10 has been my daily carry for 8 months, it displaced a
Benchmade 556 minigriptilian that had been in my pocket daily for a year and a half.

I thought the Caly 3 with carbon fiber would be rough finish like the Military model but it is smooth. I want it any way.

Whatever you choose collecting and carrying is a good time.
 
I 'll throw in another vote for the Caly 3. Great fit and finish and love the low rise clip.
