Need Recommendations

Hey Guys long time no post for me. An impulsive knife purchase has got me wanting to do
some overnight/weekend backpacking to use it and practice some photography.
I need help finding a good 2 day back, looking to just take a simple one man tent and sleeping
back which I could definitely use some Recommendations.

If you want specific help, location, time of year, budget and distance traveled are going to be critical factors, without that, I can recommend you $10,000 worth of boutique and cottage gear, or $100 from a surplus store, or the entire range up the middle.
