Do a search and you will find reviews for it. I know this because i did one of the reviews on it.:D

Oh and its a good all around knife for camping and the like.

P.S.- Welcome to Bladeforums!

just get it you'll love it! easy to sharpen, holds edge well. skinned two deer before i decided to touch it up.

I don't have that one, but I've never had a problem with a Ka-Bar fixed blade. They are simple, tough, and sharpen easily.

There has been a complaint or two about the guard on this model. I remember reading that at least one person filed it off. (I think maybe just the back side?) It shouldn't be a lot of work to do this, though.

but is it terrorist tested? no just jokeing, i was thinking of picking one up at the army surplus store tommarow, looks like a knife that can take allot of abuse.

i have filed off the top of the guard on the one i have, made it a lot easier to choke up on the blade. easier to skin with also. i like this knife so much, i am thinking about giving it a makeover - have all the black stuff taken off, convexed ground and an osage orange wood handle put on.
it does well as a light chopper, and i mean light. the edge is not designed for heavry chopping(the way i see it anyway) it is more of a skinner. i did split a few 12" long 2x4's with a baton and it did well here, i went through fairly straight grain material.

I have 8 Ka-Bar fixed blades and the warthog is one of them.Very sturdy and out of the box sharp.I also own the Impact warthog. It's smaller but just as rugged.
