  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Anyone out there that can do a comparison/review on the Ontario RAT vs the SRKW Howling Rat?

I've only got enough $ for one, and already have a Camp Tramp.

But I need a good "all around" in that blade size for general outdoor use - camp chores, hunting, fishing, survival.

No, not the one knife scenario - I have a hatchet (Gerber 17,") a v-nox Trailmaster (std, not one hander)along with a skinner (Schrade) and a Case Mako for outdoor use.

In addition, I (probably overkill, I know) generally still have my edc - a BM 710HS (or occasionally a BM551) and another "small v-nox," along with my LM Wave even when I head into the boonies...

I know that there are many that "go light" but I just see things as prone to loss just when needed most.

My philosopy is that I an always cache or stash, but if I don't have it...
