Need selection help.

Hi all, mostly newby here.
I have 300 to spend, and I'm looking for a EDC folder.
I've been doing all my research here, and elsewhere so I have some ideas.
However I could use some additional ideas.
My criteria is as follow; USA made, medium to small in size, and a pocket clip.

It will be on me when I'm home.
Can't bring it to work.
So anything around the house and out and about.
I have other knives for camping etc..
 
For a simple around-the-house inife, you need nothing more than a Becnhmade Griptillian or Mini Griptillian. Way below your max price. Awesome knife, got mine for $55 on the Exchange.
 
Kershaw s30v Blur. If you wanna go higher-end then maybe a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 if you can find one.
 
Microtech Socom Elite if you can find one. ZT 560. This list could be huge, would you want a fixed blade since you would be caring your knife around the house only?
 
Ok I'll narrow it a little.
No fixed blade, have those but I don't have a small folder.
Don't mind spending some money, it's my turn to get spoiled.
Strider PT is the high dollar choice, and the Kershaw Skyline is the low cost choice.
Looking for options in between.
I like Spyderco, and don't own one. Not many US made..
 
Will the axis lock get gunk in it? Is it stronger than a liner lock?
Like the shape of the Manix over the para military.
