Need sharpening on my Strider ME 3V

Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for professional knife sharpening? I've never looked into getting one of my knives sharpened before, and I have no clue where to begin to look for sharpening.

I'll probably get looked at crossly for saying it but :
I find (from sharpening knives for people who can't ) that people who can't/don't sharpen their own knives should probably not have sharp knives.
They cut themselves up with them . Some times to a surprising degree.

PS : I've stopped sharpening for people but will teach. So far . . .
no takers .
I assume sharp knives scare them and they prefer hacking away with a dull knife shaped object .
