need sheath expertise for ashbm

I think that blade is a little big to not use a drop loop sheath. There are a few that use tek loks but I think the size makes movement an issue if this is attached to the belt.

Yes, unless you are a giant it may be a pain to draw without over extending your arm. A simple teklok is the easiest option for makers to promote but Im sure if you make a special request most will try and accommodate. Mashed cat makes a killer drop loop, google image em.

No giant, 6'1" no spare tire, I'm not trying to lose lots of agility. When the mood strikes it on the trail I climb trees and free climb small rock faces so movement is a must.

You might also consider a baldric rig, a very good way to carry a large blade. I copped this from one of the SHBM threads:

I carry it in a left hand Armoralleather baldric rig.

Similar size to the ASHBM this is the BWM with the dangler setup. Something this large on the belt I always recommend adding the slots and thigh strap option.
