Need sheath options for a new ZT-301

I'm looking for sheath options for a new ZT-301 folder I picked up...she's TOO HEAVY
for pocket carry...

Something in a strong ballistic nylon that can be carried vertically or horizontally is ideal...

Any other suggestions would be welcome as well...

Check out Maxpedition, They use 1000 Denier cordura.

Zero Tolerance sells their own sheaths. I like mine a lot and use it for the ZT 0500.

Anybody offer aKydex rig for the 301...?

I was not a fan of leather before I found BG Leatherworks, now I'm converted. This is a sheath for a JYD II, but the concept would work just as well with a ZT.
JYD II clip is a bit gaudy for me so now I have this horizontal carry sheath and I find it a lot more comfortable.
Sorry for the poor lighting, but you get the idea.

You haven't had any problems with the knife slipping out of the sheath? I really like the idea.

Not at all, fits like a glove and comes out clean. Goose does great work.

There are plenty of sheath makers on the forums, just have to look in the sheaths and such forums.

DUAL Purpose Kydex sheaths...

I know I have seen Kydex belt sheaths that allow for a folder to be carried OPEN, full length...
but also allow a very tight CLOSED carry in the top half of the sheath...

If you know of someone that does that, let me know please....

Send an email to some of the custom kydex shapers on here outlining what you are interested in and I bet at least one will be willing to work with you.
I have custom ordered from a few on here and they are more than willing to accommodate your needs.
Im sure you know this all, just throwing in my recommendation.
