Sorry for the topic that won't die....but I need some small pieces of Kydex 100 or Concealex. Maybe about 12" x 12", preferably about .090 thickness.

I've done a search and turned up a few suppliers, but I don't need a whole sheet of the stuff. I bought some at a gunshow once, but it was .060 thickness and isn't what I want.

Anyone know of a source in the Dallas area?

Greg...

You can order 24X24" panels from Blade-Tech..

You may as well get that size,, because once you've sheathed one knife,, it easily becomes addicting and you'll be sheathing everything in sight as well as all of your friends blades.

An extra 3 square feet isn't as much as you think it might be...

What are you using the .090 for anyway ???

Makes great loops,,but a little thick for sheath bodies...
Try the .080 for sheath bodies,, easier to work with..

Eric-

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that Blade-tech would sell anything less than a full sheet.

I'm trying to sheath my much-modified Nimravus Cub. Something very minimal, probably glued together with the Plastix glue that I saw you mention in another thread. I don't even plan on a belt loop for now, just a pocket sheath with a hole for a static cord maybe.

If you say that .080 is the way to go, I'll probably use that. All I've messed with is the .060 kydex and it's thinner that I want.

And since you mention it, I need to make some sheaths for a kitchen knife so that I can take it camping, and then there's that Cold Steel SRK that needs a new sheath........

Greg...

See what I mean,, you'll find all knids of stuff to do with it....

If you get stuck on that cub,, I've got them in stock..

Sounds like you are after is a slip sheath Eh ???

Be careful when you use that glue! It can tend to creep and ,It can get messy and can bugger up a sheath in a hurry....
