I live in NYC so i'm looking for a folder, around 3" blade which is serrated to the very tip if possible, has a belt clip and has a handle that is not much larger then the size of the blade. The closest thing I found so far was a Spiderco Delica but the handle is an inch bigger then the blade adding unneeded length to the knife. Any ideas?

Regards,
Felix

I just got an amazing knife with a blade that is approximately 3" and the handle is about as big as the blade. It is a Benchmade Mini-Griptillian. You can usually get these for fifty bucks or so. I really love mine because of the ever reliable axis lock and the amazing tanto blade. It's a great knife and I really reccomend it.

I'll second the mini grip, but I'm pretty sure it only comes in straight or combo edge...

Technically the native maxed is combo edge (I think) but it's up until like the last two CMs. It's pretty awesome. Of course, it's no benchmade.... ;-)

Mini-grip is good. I like the Spyderco ladybug on my keychain. It's serrated blade will cut anything, it is always handy.

For a good EDC for emergencies I like the Microtech MSE auto with belt cutter/glass breaker. It comes in auto and nonauto styles. The later is probably the only one legal in NYC. The length is about 3".

The Benchmade 921 "Switchback" is nice also. It comes with two blades, large and small and is easy to carry and very smooth opening.

I couldn't find the benchmade fully serrated ether... ether way $90 for a knife that can be taken away on a whim by a cop is alittle much for me.

The NYC legal climate is generally hostile to locking folding knives. Consider SAK or multitool if you are concerned about possiblel legal consequences.
