So, I posted this issue in the Buck forum and after reading about some QC issues, I am not satisfied with the just send it back to Buck, they will make it right comments. After holding out for a few years on Buck, my last one was a Buck/Strider if that helps, I bought the sculpted G-10 Vantage Force Pro. Love many aspects of the knife except that it has considerable blade wiggle and if I tighten the pivot, the blade goes off center, rubs side and can barely open. After cycling it now a bunch, I am starting to get up and down wiggle to the blade. How can a low cost Kershaw Chill have a more solid lock up than a knife 4 times its cost? I simply would like to order larger phos. bronze washers for the pivot area. The ones in there seem to be way too small, allowing the blade to wiggle. This is not rocket science. I do not want to pay for shipping to send it back. I will check a few places online to order them. Does anyone other then a Buck person who never seems to have issues with their Bucks have any suggestions for me? I will do this in house. Just looking for some helpful tips to make this knife better. I would even be open to sending it to a custom guy for tweeking. Your "POSITIVE" thoughts are welcome. Thanks everyone!
