Greetings all,
I recently acquired a new (to me) Browning Citori and I am thinking of making a luggage type case for it. I would like to line the interior with leather but am not sure what would be a good weight/thickness to use. I would be lining the inside top, bottom and sides as well as wrapping the interior dividers. I am thinking of putting the leather over something like a wool batting for a little cushion. Could I use contact cement to keep the layers together so it wont sag? (Thinking mainly about the inside of the lid for this.) Also, what about veg. vs chrome tanned, is one better in this application than the other?
TIA
