need some advice with a little fun! PICS...

hey fellows! im in a bit of a dilemma here. i got this TT head awhile back and got this nice HHS octangle handle to go along with it...
as you can see, the head is in good shape and cleaned up pretty good...
but there is someting wrong with it. i didnt notice it when i won it off of ebay, but their is something 'off' with this head...
sooo... im having a hard time trying to decide if i should hang it on such a nice handle...
if you see what im talking about, would you still hang it on this handle?

what is wrong with it? who gets it first? :D

I had to look for a while before I saw that. But maybe there's something else instead? Good puzzle, bearhunter.

no thats not it, its has been hammered on a little bit, but thats not it...
i didnt notice it until after i cleaned it up and placed it on the handle, its kinda hard to see, but obvious once you see it;)
 
The only real problem I see with that head is that it's on your bench not mine. Other than that the upper dimples aren't symmetrical.

You got that thing hung yet or are you shipping to me?
 
Don't know much about DBs but is the stamp on upside down. IE facing wrong edge? If so it would make it more valuable so must be something else. I'll look again.

you got it...:)
the left is a full 1/4" shorter than the right... it has been ground down pretty good... you really cant see it well in the pics, but theres not much tempered steel left on that side...
the right side really dosent have that much either, but has quite a bit more that the left...

i really like the head, but!!! i dont know, seriously, what would you guys do?
should i wait for a nicer head to go with the handle and get a 'regular' handle for the TT?

man, you guys are a tough crowd!

you found so many flaws with it i think im going to chunck it into the river...

i new that it wasent 'perfect', but man! i guess i could also use it for a door stop:(

hey, im west of the divide so if i throw it in the clark fork just wait awhile it will be coming down the columbia in no time...
the rivers are high due to snowmelt, so just keep your eyes open she'll be there soon;):D
 
i think that i have decided to wait awhile before i hang it and see if i cant come across a better head...

i really want a blugrass;)
