I know it's a Busse Team Gemini. However, I don't know if it's the "Light Brigade" model, or whatever the model was called that was the "non-Light Brigade" model.

It appears the finish matches the "Muddy Brown" finish. I assume the handle is "Tan" Micarta canvas - but not sure if there is a more appropriate name/color.

Thanks!

I would need to hold it to be sure :)

That would be the light brigade version, congats!

You can still buy these for $387 plus shipping and you are correct on the handle material and color.

I'm with aaaa_cccc on this one but you can easily double check by looking at the blade profile, TG left and TGLB on the right

Thanks! Out of sheer curiosity, what was the weight difference between the LB and non-LB? Why was it changed?

Jerry stated the TGLB was almost 1/3 pound lighter... So close to 6 ounces. Your version is definitely an LB...

It wasn't really "changed" exactly. The team Gemini was just the first blade offered with the light brigade treatment. The "original" Gemini was never a regular release and there aren't many of them floating around.

Most of them are tanker gray with black micarta from Blade. Any other are probably extremely limited, from other later shows and ganzaas.

The originals came in a few different colors but I cant remember exactly what they were. To many drinks between then and now. Either way great score. Congrats

Thanks.

So realistically, if I actually *use* this knife, does that absolutely destroy the value of it? I still take care of my toys and am anal about maintenance, but am still trying to decide if I put this in the safe with my collection knives, or use it for camping/hiking.

It has no collector value at all right now because they are still in production.

Lately though, it seems like there are more collectors buying than users. That's a back and forth thing though.

If you like it I'd feel free to use it. Most of us are here because we want the best, and you never really know for sure which is best for you until you put each design to the test.

Thanks.

Point shape makes it a great tool for cleaning your nails! ;)
TGLB will do nicely as the one knife option (if that was your thing). I'd say go and beat the living lights out ta yours, well give it a try...

When I buy Busse/kin on the secondary market I prefer users. Then I don't have to put that first scratch or scuff on it. I only own 3 unused busses and that is because they have not arrived yet.
I may make the serrated mojo a safe queen. The unserrated one, however, will be properly loved.
