I have a Citizen Skyhawk that currently has a steel bracelet. I hate it. I would like to find a leather or kevlar strap that would fit it. The OEM steel strap is tiered meaning it varies 6MM from 18MM inside the lugs to 24MM outside. They make a replacement for the Sail hawk which is blue but I don't want blue. Any ideas as to where I can find a suitable replacement?

Thanks. :)

Ken,

You might want to go over to the link below and ask there, as they have alot of folks on that forum that know ALOT about Citizen watches and the bands, as well as a rep. from Citizen Watches that will answer your question.

personally i'd give a look at the nato straps on broadarrow.net, very durable and they give any watch a tactical look. also the waterbourne strap is pretty good and built like a tank. later, ahgar

I just picked up this NATO strap (pictured from the broadarrow site from ahgar's post) for my Luminox Titanium SEAL. I got it from lapolicegear.com. I like it VERY much, but since I have skinny little wrists, there was too much strap, so I had to trim it down (by about an inch)...also, I had to string it through in an unconventional way.

Those are interesting lugs, but I think you'll be fine.

I want to stay away from the "tactical" look as this is used primarily as a dress watch. Leather or Kevlar is what I am pretty much set on.
