I have two people on my list that are up for some upgrades.

(1) My brother works in an office and I don't think he carries anything sharp. He likely wouldn't want to advertise the presence of a knife in his workplace, so a clip is more or less out the window. I also doubt he would me much for a maintenance, and he lives in Texas, so corrosion resistance is a factor to consider. I'm thinking some kind of SAK just so it has broad utility, but ideally one that is relatively compact and has an upgraded blade steel. As a potentially helpful aside, he is soon going to go into the prototyping phase of a Cryolypolysis device for a planned solo side-gig.

(2) The last knife I got for my dad aside from the Cybertool I bought him for a Father's Day some time back was a small SanRenMu wharncliffe folder I got for him in my nascent knifebro days. Below is the knife, the SanRenMu T11.

This has fallen into disrepair over the last 6 years and is now largely unfit for carry after a few lost screws. He values pocket economy, so something similarly utilitarian, slim, and light would be ideal. I'd have gotten him a Tuff Lite and called it good already if it wasn't so bulky. I'm currently considering a Spyderco Pingo.

Neither the SAK world or the realm of tiny thin utility knives are areas of my expertise. If you have a suggestion for either, please let me know. My budget is about $70 each.

Vic Cadet for sure for your brother. It's the perfect pocket knife. The black version is also very classy looking.

For your Dad, maybe something like a Kershaw Shuffle. Very thin, useful and inexpensive.

I'll change my recommendations up a little, just for fun. For you brother, how about a Leatherman Skeletool CX? That covers utility, upgraded steel and, while it does have a clip, a pliers-based multitool often won't really read as a knife to most folks. Sure, they know it has a blade, but multitools are about as un-tacticool as you can get for a OHO.

For your dad, what about a Spyderco Urban? It's a very, very nice slipjoint that works well for large hands, but is very compact. It's also a one hand opener, unlike the Pingo.

For your brother, small Tinker and a Leatherman Ps4 for his keychain. Or perhaps a Case Peanut of your choice. Small and useful knives.
For Dad, a GEC slipjoint of your choice.

My dad is DYI guy that owns every tool known to man and always carries a tiny Vic SD classic. He says it's the best tool he's every used and all he needs (and he's mostly right). I've given him hundreds of dollars worth of knives, but none of them were a home run like the Spyderco Chaparral CF. He loves that knife and carries it all the time now.

I work in an office and carry my Chaparral clip less. I think it or the cheaper FRN version might be a good choice for both of your presents. Of course, the Dragonfly 2 is a smaller, cheaper option. The DF2 was basically my only carry for years (clip less) and my gateway drug.

Here's an old pic of mine comparing the size of the Native5, Chaparral, Cat, and Dragonfly2:

Get them each a Spyderco Delica. Remove the clip of the one for your BIL and send it to me ;)

Spydie UKPK, Manly Wasp. Former can be had in S110V, latter can be had in S90V. Small, unobtrusive, slip jointed, wicked slicers.
