Hey guys, I've kind of missed out on the Foxy's Folly special order thing, and I'm a bit confused...what exactly is the Foxy's Folly? I know how it looks like, but when I went back to search in the forum posts, I found this:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=258599&highlight=Cherokee+Special

The khuk in the pic is the Foxy's Folly, if I understand it correctly, but it looks nothing like a wood model at all. And Uncle Bill said that Foxy will get a freebie if 10 forumites place an order.

So was that khuk in the picture MADE to be a Foxy's Folly, then the special order in that thread was referring to the Foxy's Fighter, which is meant to be a much thinner version of the Foxy's Folly? Or was there only one Foxy's Folly in the first place?

There is only one Foxy Folly regretfully.:(
It is one helluva beautiful heavy khukuri though!!!! The first -and best- was made by Bura and regretfully it was overweight as well.
Somehow and somewhen there will be a shorter and lighter Foxy Folly made.
A 17"-18" model in the 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 pound with about a five inch handle, steel furniture and no cho creep and without the so called habaki bolster is my dream khuk!!!!:D

Beautiful it is, Yvsa. But at 3lbs when the specs called for 1.5lbs...

Uncle Bill needs to get better and get over to Nepal to do some old-fashioned ass-kicking. Someone send him some Heineken.

I agree about the ass-kickin too and while he's at it he can show the kamis what a true convex edge is.:D
