I'm here at work.

The IT dept upgraded my coworkers mail program. Now all of a sudden she loses the color that she had in her excel spreadsheet, and she can't change the color or font in her email program.

Weird. Any ideas?

Yeah, talk to her boss. ;)
I have NO idea if this will help or not, but it's still a good idea. Make sure your office software is updated via Microsoft's website.

actually i figured it out. It was the accessibility option, and unchecking the "high contrast" option did the trick.

Yeah, the IT people said he couldn't help, and to research it on the internet. Nice IT we have. :thumbdn:

If they upgraded her, and she's having problems with those software applications that they upgraded (i.e. upgrading Office 2000 to Office 2003) then they may have to redo the upgrade. Is your IT department aware of the conflict?

Upgrading the Office Suite (which upgrades not just Outlook but all Office applications) is a lot different than upgrading to a new 3rd party email application (like Eudora).

Please don't be so hard on the IT dept. IMO, that was a pretty obscure problem. Messing with PCs ain't like playing with Legos.

To G & G!
