Need some CS blades recommended

So since the start of the year I've been wearing the Kobun with the secure-ex sheath as my boot knife. And other than needed to add some paracord to keep it in place the results have been just fine. Unfortunately as I move away from my winter boots as the weather grows warmer, back to the boots I normally wear in the spring and summer, this option doesn't work as the handle rubs against my leg, while the sheath clip digs into my heel whenever I walk.

I'm going to keep looking for ways to make it work, but in the meantime I need some recommendations for other fixed blade knives that have sheaths that can clip onto the belt. It's possible the Kobun is going to be a seasonal knife, and that I'm going to need a rotation of boot knives.

You might look into the Spike series. I carry one (Bowie Spike) every day and the weight and handle design are perfect for a concealed carry fixed blade.

I got the Tanto Spike not all that long ago to serve as a neck knife. For that role they're very fine, but boot knives are an entirely different category.

I'm thinking about the Peace Maker series, since they're similar in size to the Kobun. But the clip placement makes it look like it would rest a lot lower on a shorter work boot, and hit the ground.

I also carry a Peace Maker from time to time but not in the factory sheath. The factory sheath is worthless to me. I made my own Kydex and it is much better. I occasionally carry a Peace Keeper as well but I don't see either carrying any different or better than a Kobun.

When you got your Peace Maker, what was the length between the bend in the clip, and the bottom of the sheath? With my particular boots I'd need something with the length being no more than 7 inches.

Fyi, The Peace Maker III is 6" and the Peace Maker II is 7 3/4" from the bend in the clip to the bottom of the sheath.
