I need some suggestions for double edged fixed blades and folders. Looking for production stuff under $100. SOG has the Pentagons and that's about all I've found.
I live in Canada and there aren't any laws regarding double edged "daggers" and the like.

thanks for any info.

The Boker (or Blackjack) Applegate/Fairbairn Fighting Knife (Dagger) is a pretty good one. If you want to jump up in price, the Cold Steel Tai Pan is excellent, and is one of my favorite fixed-blade "fighters".

my favorite in that price range is the Applegate-Fairbairn. Gerber daggers are also good if you can find them.

Fallkniven MC-1. Sorry, I don't know the price but it might be over $100. Just checked and MC-1 is way over $100 but the G-1 looks like it is pretty close.

Falkniven G1, small but sharp and tough also the SOG pentagon though certainly not traditional.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I should have added that I'm looking for stuff at the smaller end of the scale, 8 inch or less.
Didn't see many folders listed, they don't exist?

Cold Steel makes a Triple-Action folder and one of their Archangel butterfly knives in double-edge. I'm sure there are other double-edged butterfly knives on the market. The only time I really looked at them was in the Philippines but they probably have some here, even with kris blades. There are other knives that are ground on each side but are only fully sharpened on one. The new folding Sting by AG Russell is like this.
