Hey everyone, I've made three different styles of pouch sheaths for the Anorexic BOSS street, so far the response has been equal on all three. So, should I produce all three patterns or concentrate on a couple?

If the poll works, please choose your favorite, if you dont have the proper membership to do it please post in this thread.

Thanks!

Dwayne, I've got to pick up one of these.
I know I queried you about them, and then I dropped off the map.
I personally like the first one and the third one.

I voted for the first one though.
It reminds me of a pouch sheath Ray Laconico made for his bushcraft knife, and I like it a lot.
I like the fact that the fold-over is long and continuous and makes the sheath easy to slide in and out of a pocket if you're not belt carrying.
Just seems like a nice streamline design.

All your versions are great though.

Ah, I've been waiting for a simple pouch from you.

Voted for #1, with #2 a close second.

I'd prefer a machine stitched drop loop style with snap in black like you did for the Skinny ASH run.

On a taco pouch style I like no back stitch, or the very short back stitch.

Many many thanks to those who have participated so far!! :D :D :D I really appreciate it. I need to do more of these as it helps me to streamline my patterning methods! :)

Please keep em coming!

You do have a very good point, and yes, I have already done a few just like that. Guess I should have made it an option as well, sorry about that. :o

I'm leaning toward the short backstitch. I'm not sure it would be a problem on the long backstitch, but with those mid backstitch-style pouches I always manage to jab the tip into the welt there it jumps out at you halfway down. Makes sheathing the knife a bit of a pain.

For me, anyway. I'm a bit of a clod. ;)

I voted long backstitch because I think it'll offer a closer fit.

This!

One of the reasons anyway.

Good point there, especially with a clip point knife. The drop point of the BOSS street doesn't seem to catch it as easy, but the higher point of the Meaner does catch it if the point runs across the top bend of the sheath.

Correct, that sheath has a much firmer hold than the other two. Thanks for voting my friend, long time no talk. :)

Need another option on the poll for other. I know you do amazing work- so please do not take that comment as negative. I was just also feeling something with a loop and just not a fan of taco's iho. Thx guys.

I also prefer the look and feel of the one with the long backstitch. The short backstitch just seems a bit too "country hunting knife" for my liking. And, you do amazing work, btw.

No worries at all my friend, its already been mentioned a couple of times in this thread, It didnt even dawn on me to add the simple mid ride sheath to the list. :o But! I am counting the "raised hands" in the thread! :D It does look like a must make for me.

Agreed, and looking at the poll your in good company. :) The long back stitch is definitely more popular. I like it more because, to me, it looks more sleek and compact than the standard pouch.

Thanks again everyone!!!!

I have not used this type of sheath before but I vote for the long back stitch for it tighter hold and looks. I would like a drop loop option as well.

Count me with the "in" crowd and a long backstitch. OTOH, I'm not a huge pouch-sheath fan to begin with, so this makes it more non-pouchy.
