I have been collecting knives ever since I was about 15 and now im 30 and getting really serious about collecting.. Just today my dad got about 7 knives 5 case, 1 Remington and 1 ulster poket knives..... And the guy wants a gun that my dad has now i have to price every one of them so he does not get ripped off. What is the best site that I can price these knives... I have about 5 books but its really hard to find the right knife in there, there has got to be an easier way. Can some one help me with this and one more question what do you use to keep your knives clean free of oil from your hands..:o Thanks for reading !!

Welcome to BladeForums!

If I read your post correctly, you are trying to determine the worth of your knives so as to sell them.

A good way to do this is to look for the same model in similar condition on ebay and see what they go for. The rule of thumb is that the third highest price is what an identical knife would sell for.

:You might want to search Ebay for completed auctions for the exact model number on the Cases and the other two. As for keeping the knife blade clean, wipe down with clean soft cloth. Or use a food grade mineral oil on it to wipe it down with.
