Need some Help Choosing

I have been given permission to order the knife I want at the expense of the credit card holder(not me). Under 150 dollars. I want a folder, something that is convenient to carry and tactical. I would also like it to be somewhat large. Ahhh why not, up to 200 bucks. Please help me. Thanks.

A Benchmade AFCK 800 would do the trick for less than a $100.00.
There is a new AFCK supposedly hitting the market with the axis lock. It will be a hot selling knife for Benchmade. I will stick with the liner lock 800 AFCK with round spydie hole because I like it that much better. Big D1

You might want to check out the Camillus EDC model. In your price range you could go for the Talonite blade, I've never used it but it is totally rust proof and supposedly cuts as well or better than steel. I recently ordered one in 154CM steel, and from everything Ive heard and read in the forums the build quality and lockup are beyond reproach. Also small and round enough to go unnoticed in a pocket until you need it. Seems to me that if by "tactical" you mean big and scary looking then you might have to sacrifice some "easy to carry". However, if you're not looking for some Rambo folder this might be worth a look.

No bad suggestions so far. :)

My recommendation is for the Kershaw Boa.

It carries comfortably in a pocket, but it is a relatively large knife. Great blade shape and one of the most comfortable folder handles around. The lower guard built into the blade is a big plus for defensive use. Also, the "speed safe" mechanism makes it as fast as an auto for all practical purposes, but in most states it is perfectly legal.

I like the multi-colored version because it is more sheeple friendly, but you can also get it with a plain black handle and blade.

so Many wonderful choices for you!

Benchmade Axis locks are great, the Carbon fiber ares, the axis AFCK, and the 710, would all be great.

Also look into Microtech and the larger Syderco's

good luck, i'm jealous

I suggest the Spyderco Military model for a primary tool purpose and the Microtech SOCOM Elite-M model for a primary self defense purpose.
