need some help clearing up a forum rule.

Inread through the forum rules and FAQ and am still not clear if it's a violation to try to initiate a Becker for Becker trade on the forum. Can someone clear this up for me?
 
Yeah its against the rules. but you can make a thread in the trade section and then link to it in the snark thread.

I got an infraction for doing that. You can put it in your sig, however. Actually, he can't list unless he's a gold member. He can buy though.

REGISTERED USERS - The first level of membership. This one has no perks other than the ability access the Exchange to purchase items or trade. Registered users are NOT allowed to post items for sale,
If you have not purchased a paid subscription, you are by default a Registered User. As such, you are not allowed to sell items on the forums. You may post items for Trade in the Wanted To Trade Forums, or post requests for items to purchase in the Wanted To Buy Forums.

You can put a link to your sale/trade threads in your sig line.To have the sig line option you must be a paying member.

All exchange type dealings happen in the Exchange only.

Thanks for the clarification! I'll just hold off until I can get a gold membership and hope that I warm up more to the blade.
 
basic member is cheap - like less than a large fancy coffee and snack at a coffee shop.
gold is only $25/year.

You can't post sale or trade threads outside the exchange.
 
So the original post is asking if it's initiated in a Becker Forum. Not the trade forum.
I thought it meant a Becker can't be traded for a Becker.
 
Any knife can be traded for any knife. However to initiate the trade you have to be a paying member, and post the thread in the exchange and NOT in the Becker sub-forum. Hopefully this clears it up some for you.

Any level member can post in the trade section, paid membership or not.

(not a Becker Mod)
