Okay, so first let me apologize for this excessive posting on recommendations. This will be the last one. I have been on the edge on buying a Strider SNG for a LONG time now. I keep talking myself out of it but now im at the point where I really want one. I would have to sell my second Gen ZT 0550 and one more knife. I really appreciate quality and that is why I own a sebenza. So in what way is the Strider better than the ZT 0550. To me, the strider just looks so cool. This would also be my last knife purchase for a WHILE because I have gone a little overboard lately. I think I would be content with a Strider, but at the same time the ZT is perfect in every way to me except thickness. I just need some input on this decision. I need to cut down for a while and appreciate the knives I have. I have also thinned out my collection. Just let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
George

i carry my strider smf more then my zt 560. Dont know why, they aren't' better material wise. But they do look so cool... if you think you will be happy with it ( I hoped you have seen one in person) go for it. I'm extremely happy with mine.

well according to your signature you already made up your mind but I just recently got a lego SNG in CPM154 and it is a great knife.

I've had a ZT 0550. It's a great knife, but I sold it. It was blocky and a bit too heavy for me to carry. I sold it. I also own Sebenzas and one Umnumzaan. CRK is great. I do normally carry a Sebbie. I also have Striders, and the Sng is a perfect size for most folks of medium stature. A big guy might want the SMF, but most guys will find it a bit large, as it is 9" lone when opened.
Get the Sng. I understand the CPM154 is a good steel and is a special run with at least one knife-seller.
Sebenzas have a very relaxed appearance; the Strider is dynamic, flashy and perhaps intimidating for some folks.
But I'm shopping for another Strider as we speak, and I have four now.

The SnG is a perfect folder. The design itself is simple yet extremely tough. It's thin, lightweight, and it's over-built. Just choose a Tanto or Spearpoint.
