Need some help fellows... BUFFALO AXE AND TOOL CO.

A friend of mine is looking for some info on this company.
My axe reference books have no mention of them and my Google Fu seems to be weak today.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bear,

I have not come across anything with the name BUFFALO doing all my (OCD) Axe/Hatchet research the past couple of weeks. I do however have an idea. I suspect BUFFALO Axe & Tool Co. would mean Buffalo NY. Perhaps if your friend went to one of those City Data/State/local type "Chat rooms" and posted a message regarding BA&T Co., perhaps someones, Father, Grandfather worked at the Factory and could provide you're Buddy with some information. Ya never know, you're Buddy could have an Axe that is very rare!

Isnt it a bit strange moving this thread here? Anyone that would be able to help is hanging out in the axe subforum, no?
 
They do not understand that it is a vintage axe that BearHunter was talking about.
 
I seen mention of a Buffalo Black Axe from Buffalo Wholesale Co.. How about a picture?

Yeah Dave, I love that guy :cool:
He and I email and such. I've bought a couple of axes off of him, he's a funny dude.
He's 'friends' with my wife on FB, I don't have a page, but he's on hers and I chat with him on there from time to time too.
He's suppose to come and visit me in Montana soon. He's always wanted to come here.
