need some help id'ing this one

greetings all,
need some help with this used spyderco I just got. here goes. looks like a police model but with black micarta scales. small swedge on both sides of blade. no liners. tip down carry only. pinned and polished rivets. lock-back. marked "spyderco vg-10". only japan on the other side. no jimping. polished black clip with a gold spyder logo. I apologize for no pix but have no scanner. any help would sure be appreciated. thanks and best regards.
