Need some help with a 111

Ran across a Buck 111 this weekend. Looked like a standard 110 except for the angled bolsters and it had an emblem on the outside and marked as Post Falls final production on the etched blade. Blade was marked as a 111. Any ideas on what it was? Looked new with sheath, no box. Store was asking $80 but would take $75

The 111 is the 110 with fancy angled bolsters. The one you saw, go back and get it, was made as production of the 111 was ending. I have a 111 with the Idaho tang stamp (2005).

Top to bottom: 111, 110 and Classic

I think I found one in a completed auction on the bay. Was wondering how many were made? Found another one with engraved bolsters but don't know if the engraving was factory or not. The one I found has plain silver bolsters and with the etched blade and little circle medallion on one of the scales. If I can figure out when they were made I was going to check the BCCI site and see what info I could find.

The engraved one in Herbert's post was made for SMKW.

Here are some of PLB's photo's of the set

Thank you. The top one in the photo is the one I found. Do you know when it was made? It has a black sheath with it but no box.
