Need Some Help with Ranger Knives Little Bird...

Not sure if this should be in the reviews and testing, but can someone give me a short, long, inbetween (doesn't really matter) review of this little beauty? I've been eyeing one for about a month and have my wife talked into letting me get one, and for 45 smackers it looks like a steal. Love the choice of steel, nice finish, but I'm a little worried about the feel of the handle; it looks thick but comfy in the same respect :( . Like I said I could use some help and thanks in advance. :D


P.S. Checked the archives and didn't find anything...is this the first request for something like this?

No problem. I just didn't know how the moderators feel about another forum being mentioned.
 
One thing I will mention is you will have a hard time finding a better guy then Justin. If you aren't happy with something from him he will make it right for you. He heat treats my 5160 steel knives and is a great person to deal with. I don't own any of his knives but he is getting a good following of extremely satisfied customers.

Justin is a great guy, very easy to deal with and understanding. If you want a variation of the little bird (a big bird?) I'm sure he'll custom make you one for a slightly higher price. He's currently working on a damascus wharncliffe custom for me, and I simply can't wait, I know its going to be that good :D

You guys are telling me! I emailed him last night and got a response withtin a few hours. He has been quite pleasant and so far a pleasure. I like the design of the little bird and my wife won't let me spend more than that...(help me :( ). I'm sure everyone who's married knows what I mean. Thanks all! :D

For the price you can't go wrong...

I don't find the handle to big at all...

Pretty decent sheath with it as well..:)
