Need some help

I do know the original commanders had screws down the middle of the handle if that helps at all...
 
my emerson blades all have the model # and wave patent # as well as what year made. Also what number made under the thumb stud. Box looks legit.
Just saying. i am no expert, except in my own head.
 
I believe they started putting the model number and wave patent number on 2002 and up knives. Older emersons imo have a classic feel to them and their tolerances are superb. I actually prefer them if I can find them to current prodution models. "Vintage" Emersons are a great find.
 
I don't think you're allowed to link that site even especially if the auction is still live. Probably be best to remove it.
 
I vote legit - for all the same reasons listed above. Someone got a good deal on that knife!
 
Looks legit to me, pics can be deceiving though.

I would be hesitant to buy any Emerson off ebay... to many fakes out there.
