Need some help !!

Hello all- Firstly, if the moderators don't think this is the right place for this question then please place it where it belongs.
I would like to know exactly what is needed to place knife pictures on this site. I only have a small laptop computer and no other equipment. Can I go to one of those computer places (say, Kinkos for example), where they let people use their computers and do it at one of those places ?? What about this "Photopoint" I see, what exactly do they do ?? Any help is appreciated.

Photopoint allows you to "store" your pictures on their site. You open your account and send the pictures via e-mail. It is quite easy. Then you log-in and you can move your pictures around, rename the captions, create new folders (like "my knife collection") etc. But you have to have the pictures scanned already (or taken with digital camera).

My Photopoint album works fine and if you follow their instructions it will work for you too.

First you must scan the knife and work with a photo editing software to make the image presentable. Kinkos may have a scanner you can use. Next the image must be uploaded somewhere on the www like Photopoint or most ISPs give you some storage space with your account. To post the image click here http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/ubbcode.html and that tells you about the ways to post the picture.

David and Bo- Thank you for the info, it does'nt seem as hard as I thought it was. I think I'm gonna shell out the shekels for a digital camera and take my own shots and post them, it sounds like it may be fun.
