Need some help

I do not normally post in this subforum, but I need a little help.

recently, my son attended scout camp and earned his frontiersman medal (black powder shooting, tomahawk throwing, and (i think) canoe).

We use black powder rifles for elk hunting, and I thought it might be nice to buy a small tomahawk for his gear in recognition of his achievements.

If it would not be too much trouble, please recommend a nice production tomahawk that is affordable and designed for work.

Check with Steve at Coal Creek Forge see what he has on hand. Something hand made would go very well with the black powder rifle.

Agreed - a great kid like your son certainly deserves something a little better than a $25 CS hawk. I would highly recommend anything from Steve at Coal Creek Forge, Dana Turner at Fort Turner (www.fortturner.com) or Keith Johnson at Great River Forge (his site is down though?).
