You're a sick man posting pics of a blade like that.

...one of these days I shall own a snakeskin beauty... one of these days.

this might make it easier, these are the models that im concerned with being made in sage as ive never seen them.

1. MOFO

2.FORCE ONE

3.URBAN GRUDGE

4.HEAVY DUTY

5.PAULS HATCHET

??? I know ive got a couple more but i can t remember. so anybody know if these come in sage ?? pics are cool...i guess :)

if the paul's hachet came in sage it was a special order. i have seen lot's of "one off's" but i never remember them coming from busse like that. the ratchet did come in a sageish brown though.

nice snake!!

Dang- what model is that? Almost looks like a Boss Jack LE, bit the spine isn't right. Can I get a full on pic? pretty please? :)

you are more than welcome brother.

there was black, satin and double cut"bead blasted". some had polished spine's, some had busse combat engraved in the micarta. the mil run was cord wrapped, green and tan 550 was used on them.

i know of a wide variety of combo's out there. hopefully they will chime in for ya. hope this help's.

There's a difference between Desert Sage and Tan, tan was being used for several years (more of a sandpaper feel to it) and then they switched over to Desert sage. Just a guess but I'd say that Tan started being used in 2003/2004 and then they switched over to Desert Sage in 2006/2007. IIRC.
Those are really just rough approximations from memory and I sometimes can't remember how old I am so take it with a grain of salt ;)

:D:D

1. MOFO iirc, no, only satin and double cut

2.FORCE ONE never seen one,but that don't mean it doesn't exist

3.URBAN GRUDGE

4.HEAVY DUTY I once had a milliganza AD that was sage with black canvas

5.PAULS HATCHET

Added comments in red above.

iirc the first appearance of Sage was on an over run of what was then called Olive coated ZTBM's. I handled one quite a while back. Very nice. I cannot remember when it was to save me. :o

AFAIK, most of those models predated the use of Sage coating. Were there CG UG? Might have come in Sage.

The MiliGanza AD are almost identical to the older Heavy Duty. So a Sage Mili AD would be a dead ringer for a Sage HD.
