hey guys. anyone know if the cold steel military R1 is a full tang knife?

the micarta gets a tad bit slippery when using in wet environments....
i would like to add a lanyard hole to it but am afraid i'll drill through the sucker and mess it up

any info would be appreciated

As far as I know, the tang runs all the way, but isnt a full tang. I would think it goes to about 2/3 the width of the blade at the riccaso.

Illustrated, I think the tang, at max, would look like this (red line)

So, if you want to drill (carefully) a lynard (where the blue dot is) I think that would work. Again, the picture is what I THINK the tang is, and it wouldn't surprise me if theres less then that.
