Shipping outside the US .....is it the same as shipping in the US but with more shipping cost???...what about Ins???? does paypal work the same or does it take longer for the funds to be put into your account??....any info on this would be great....I've never done it before trying to find some info on how to do it.

Thanks
Rich

Got all my stuff ship from the USA to my house in Malaysia (Asia), it's the same as shipping to CONUS, but it cost more for example around USD $39-$45 to ship for example to Malaysia inclusive of insurance (I used USPS Priority Mail International and it provides a Tracking number as well). Paying using PayPal, the money goes to the seller(if you are buying) the same day you made payment through PayPal, that is what I've made to understand. I might be wrong on this and stand corrected. Hope it helps.

I've pretty much shipped all over Europe and Southeast Asia using USPS Global Priority Mail whithout a problem. I always let the person know that I can't be responsible for it once it leaves my hands including loss, theft, natural disaster, etc....etc. You also may want to let them know that you will not fudge Customs info, just a CYA. Ins. is on them but with USPS they won't do standard Global Priority with Ins so you have to send it Express for the ins. and of course that's more. Hate PP so don't know much about it.

I have had no problems receiving things here ......... and I live in minnesota.(which is such a loonie- land I am sure it is not in the CONUS) So if it can get here I am sure that can be covered anywhere.....:D

I think Paypal has higher international fees. Like over 4% if I'm not mistaken.

the shipping to me here is roughly $20-$25 for a mid sized knife
thats usps priority with insurance, it does take some time (about a month) but thats mostly our customs and mail (canadian)
as for the paypal fees there is no extra charges (from me anyways)

I just did a shipment to Canada Priority/airmail. The clerk added for insh, but told me it really didn't apply. Also, no del conf#, just the customs declaration #.

If I do it again, it will Express for sure regardless of the cost.

I just read up on paypal's site and there are higher cross country fees.

Just click on the "fee" link at the bottom of the main page.

It also depends on what currency is being sent. I send payments to the US & receive payments from the US while only paying the normal fees (0.55+2.9% i think). However I run my paypal account in USD as well. :)

Shipping to Canada is quite easy & really doesn't cost must. Most knives I receive have less than $20USD shipping on them. There is an extra form to fill out for the customs declaration. For Busse knives though, you just need to list fixed blade knife, US manufacture. You are then good to go! The only Busse knives we can't have up here are the AA & ones like it due to the built in knuckles. The BARF is fine though as the ring is only for one finger. It is all in the legal definition of brass knuckles.. :D
