Hey People,

Having a hard time deciding between the zt 0450 or the benchmade torrent Would love to get some opinions (Im sure their are plenty of those :p) I was never really considering the 0450 before but i just picked up the 0452 and to say im blown away is an understatement. Blade size isnt a problem either way, i just like slender, lighter knives that i tend to forget are in my pocket.
Whats the difference in ergos? Can the torrent be deassisted? Never had a benchmade liner lock so how are those?

The Torrent can be deassisted. I really like the Torrent, with its contoured polished G10.

Benchmade 710 is another thin and light knife, as well as the Spyderco PM2 and Spyderco Endura.

Nice... not a big fan of assisted openers. Im a bit surprised the torrent is not more popular, it seems like an amazing little edc blade overall. Do u know if the liner lock has jimping? I couldnt tell from the pics.

Yea the 710 looks nice, never had one though, im just a bit iffy on the omega springs tbh. I prefer the simple locks with less moving parts.

I love my 710, though I want to buy some micarta scales with the holes in them. Gives it a great look plus the g10 that comes on it isn't very grippy. I've owned a bunch of axis lock knives and haven't had any problems. Out of the two I would get the ZT

While I love my Axis lock knives, I would get the Zero Tolerance any day of the week before the benchmade. I own three and love them almost as much as I love my CRK Umnumzaan.

The torrent is great except I wish it had tip up carry option. Perfect in many ways. Never had a z t.
