Wow...I hit post #2000 on Thanksgiving...how fitting!

I have some great stuff in mind for a give away, but I won't be able to get to it until after the move...everything is boxed or prep'd for packing but I have some great items to put up for a give-away...truly thankful for a great family, great friends, great job and a great bunch of fellow forumites.

What I need are some selection ideas for a give-away. I could do the lottery number on the posts, or a picture or a good deed or some wise bushcraft piece of advice...any recommendations?

I'll put up the give-away in the next few weeks after the move to GA and once we get a little settled.

Well Rock, you could post a skill demo, such as trap building, shelter construction, improvised tools, carving, etc. Then ask us to duplicate the lesson, posting pics of our final products. The winner can be the best example posted, or randomly drawn from all who make the attempt.

That's a good idea...I'll probably end up letting my son pick the winner or choose the random number for selection.

I already have an older County Comm bail-out-bag (more like a brief case) selected.

Also I received a duplicate order for When Techology Fails that will be offered up.

I'll be adding to the give-away after the move and I get things settled...

Did I mention that I hate moving
