Last night I took my wife Harriet to the hospital with a collapsed right lung. Today they drained nearly 3 liters of fluid from it, and lab exam showed it was what we feared. Harriet has had breast cancer twice (10 and 3 years ago), and that has now metastatized to her lung. She should still have a bunch of years in front of her, but it's nonetheless a real kick in the teeth.
I read this forum daily -- usually several times -- and there isn't a better bunch of folks anywhere. I'm glad I've got you people I can tell my troubles to.
Kind thoughts and prayers appreciated.
