Hey everyone this is my first thread here, so I don't know if I put this in the right place. First off this is my first spyderco it is an endura 3. This isn't my first choice but I git it for free. I was helping my friend and his family move and I saw the spyder hole under a bunch of papers so I grabbed it and he said oh yea if you can get it cleaned up you can have it. So now for the bad it was rusted closed and no pocket clip. I got it back to perfect shape its dull as Hell and has a broken tip. What are my options if any???

Call up Spyderco. I wouldn't expect anyone else to have spare parts for a Spyderco knife:rolleyes:.

Well, I'd start out by soaking it in Kroil to release the rust as well as possible, followed by steel wool to remove as much of it from the blade as you can. Flushing the pivot with RemOil or WD40 is often useful.

As far as the blade goes, regrinding a tip onto it and sharpening isn't a particularly difficult exercise, just takes time and a coarse stone or belt grinder. If you're in the Washington area, I'd be happy to help you with it, that's about a five minute exercise on the belt.

For the clip, you're probably going to have to call Spyderco, they'll likely be able to supply a new one for minimal cost.

I haven't looked in a while, but the 'bay used to list quite a lot of Spyderco clips (in black and satin/polish), especially for the Delica/Endura models.

Hey thanks for the replies everyone. I'm I'm Texas as of right now so thanks for the offer. Also I looked on the bay and searched spyderco endura3, but had no luck. So I will be calling spyderco tomorrow to see what they can do. Again thank you
