Howdy all, I have a somewhat specific request for sunglasses. I am looking for an "old-timey" style of sunglasses... something that will match my 1917 Model-T touring car and my driving hat: a black felt Bowler hat. Somehow the Oakley M-frames I have just don't match that ensemble. I already checked overstock.com and sierra trading post and came up with nada.
Where else can I look for old style sunglasses?

thanks in advance for your answers,
Mongo

Way too cool!.... and expensive! What I am looking for almost exactly is the one's on the top row, second from the left.
Yep, those are great. Scary expensive, though, considering I lose sunglasses at a rate of 2 per month.

Great! I am also DA CUSTOMER. I just sent for a pair for myself. And for one of those carbon steel reproduction knives, the first one. Got a couple more on my wishlist, if this one looks good.

They're here! The sunglasses, brown lenses in the antique copper frame, are really neat. The lenses are round and close-set, directly over my eyes. Sort of a John Lennon look :D

It is a gray and rainy day, so i'm hard put to say how effective they'll be, but they do bring out the contrast in the clouds!

The Gentleman's Pocket Knife is a winner! 4 1/2" handle, heavy brass and smooth bone, nicely fitted. 3 3/4" high carbon blade. When I cleaned the grease off it, it gleamed. The edge was raw but two minutes on the Sharpmaker and it's good to go.

i am going to send off for at least two more of his knives, a haversack and a French soldier's. I may go for the townsman's knife with the ring lock also. Reenactors take note; these knives are for real.
