So i bought a kizer ki4443ti1, Its just a generic titanium framelock flipper really, although of quite high quality i'd say. The knife worked very well however the lubricant in the pivot was black, and im not sure if it was dirty or if it was graphite powder, but there was also dust between the handles so maybe it was just dirt/dust. It worked just fine, flipped pretty easily, but knowing me i tried to make it better by lubricating it again. I tried mineral oil, which quickly mixed with the what im assuming was graphite powder, and slowed down the knife. Then i tried using silicone based lubricant (which i normally use for my rubiks cubes/twisty puzzles) and it restored it to the state it was in before i used mineral oil, however now the lock is sticking (silicone lubricants have a tendancy to do this to some things, so its not the knife, it never did this and has a carbidised lock face to prevent this). So now i want some tips on diassasembling the knife to clean it, and how to go about reasembly becuase i have some concerns blade alignment (which is near pefect right now, and i dont want to throw it off). Im also concerned about how to keep the pivot from loosening, i plan on using teflon tape and want some second opinions on that aswell. Thanks for any advice you all can give.

Go to Walmart or any auto parts store and buy a can of brake parts cleaner.
Wear safety glasses and spray the knife out with the cleaner. Let it dry.

If there is any lube left in the knife, another good squirt should remove it.
