I'm looking for someone to make an indonesian style korambit that I designed, a modification of the Kris Cutlery korambit

there is an image of it at http://www.baye.com/images/baye_korambit.gif

my problem w/ the one I got from Kris Cutlery is that it is more of a show piece, and not something I would carry or use, and it is not full tang

If anybody would be interested in creating this for me, please contact me at drew@baye.com so we can talk

thank you

Have you ever checked out Laci Szabo's Kerambit? It's not of traditional design, but it is meant to be carried/used.

I've never seen that one before, but it wouldn't work for a lot of the things I've been taught to use one for, particularly takedowns (blade has to have more of a curve) and I added the barb on the back of the blade specifically to aid in clipping/trapping.
