Need something for my keychain

I had to take my Leatherman Squirt off of my car keys keychain (just my door and ignition key on this ring). I really liked the small light that came with some Spyderco Jesters. Is there a place where I can just buy the light? BTW, I had and sold a Jester, and it didn't have a light. Thanks.
 
I believe the light is just a Photon variety...the new Freedoms are pretty sweet, or check out the INOVA microlights at Target for around $8-9.
 
The light on the Spydercos is just a Photon with a Spyderco logo instead of the Photon logo.

You can get them here. They're on sale now with free shipping. I ordered a few last week and got them within three days (shipped from Oregon to North Carolina). Pretty cool little lights and one of them went right on my keychain. I'm thinking about ordering a few more just for the hell of it.

Out of curiosity, why'd you take the Leatherman off the keys? I went from having a Micra, to a Vic Classic to nothing extra and seem to like it best that way. The light doesn't add enough bulk to care too much about.
 
Get the New Style Inova's, you can have it in momentary mode or On/Off mode. The problem with the push button functionality, like the photon freedom, is that if you have it on your keychain, the On/Off button will accidently depress at one point, and then you will have a flashlight burning battery unknowingly in your pocket. Or just get the trusty Photon II, still my favorite.
 
Target also has a number of EXCELLENT small LED lights by a brand called River Rock? Extremely bright, almost blowing away my ARC AAA. Only 6 bucks!

I bought a 4 buck el cheapo from Wally world while I'm searching for the Inovas, and it is a real POS. Made by Garrity.
 
The $1 each keychain LEDs from www.countycomm.com get pretty consistent approval at candlepowerforums. Have to buy a few to make it worth the shipping. So I got 4 and 2 of the razors :thumbup:

Yeah, the Garrity ones are crap. My wife and I gave them to each other for Christmas a couple years ago. I even got one for a buddy. Go back to Wally and pick up a Dorcy AAA. Much, MUCH better then the Garrity crap and only a buck more.
 
Is there a BatteriesPlus nearby you SHS? They carry Photons. Or simply order them direct from Photon. A slight bit more expensive than from dealers, but free shipping and no tax, so it ends up about the same. Personally, I prefered the Photon3, since the constant-on button could be set to auto-off. However, these are disciontinued. I have a violet Photon Freedom on my keychain, and for the first couple days, I was having problems with it turning itself on and staying on. If you press the button several times rapidly, you turn it to Morse Code mode, which prevents it staying on. Hold it for several seconds, and you're back to constant-on mode. It works, but it's a small PITA comapred to the simplicity of the Photon 3. However, the 2X brightness of the white Photon Freedom might just be worth the minor PITA.
 
I have a Photon Freedom on my keychain and its a handy little light. I've really never had any problems with it turning on by itself in my pockets (i keep it in Mores Code mode when not in use). I also have a Ti Prybaby. Great little gadget that weighs next to nothing.
