Anyone know where I can buy Cordura (or similar material) knife sheaths that are used to hold various pocket knives, folders, multi-tools ?

I'm looking for ones that are about 4.5 inches in length and 2 inches wide, and ideally can be worn on a belt vertically or horizontally, and have a fold-over flap with a velcro closure.

My main use for these sheaths are for knives, but I also use them for diatonic (10-hole) harmonicas, and I have several harmonica friends who also need them.

My favorite is one that I got from SOG for my para-tool; it is very will contructed and durable.

I have found one or two of these at local gun shows for about $5, but I would like to buy a bunch of them. The dealers at gun shows seem to always only one or two, and some or crap.

Thanks !

James, do you have this nylon sheath? Does it fit the Sebenza well?

DL,

Yes and Yes. CRK offers a nylon sheath for the Sebenza at $10, but I prfer the box construction and full foldover flap of the TAD model to the sandwich construction and snap down of the CRK nylon sheath. I am going to get a second and maybe a third one from Patrick, as it fits so many of my knives well.

James, thanks for the reply. I was worried that it might be too wide for the Sebenza- which is the knife I want to carry in the sheath.

Senator, thanks for options.

The new Benchmade belt pouch is quite nice. And it's a perfect fit for the Victorinox SwissTool.

Stop when you get to bone.

DL, the sheath that Triple Aught offers is a little wide for the Sebenza, I can almost get my pinky in with the knife. It is a good pouch, but not a snug fit. I like it for its versitility and quality.

The Nylon pouch that CRK offers is a snugger fit, and is a flat, sandwich style, so has about the same size footprint.

I know I'm going out on a limb a bit by suggesting this, but if you're willing to invest some time and effort you can make a pretty good sheath from a used auto seat belt ( apply velcro as needed ).

mosh

James, almost a pinky? That sounds alright. I've already made my order with TAD, plus some of those neat CMG led flashlights.

Thanks for the replies guys !

There's some real nice sheaths to choose from.

SMKW had and may still have a package of 1 dozen nylon sheaths for $10. Looks like they are about the right size. It was item #RE18484D.
